After Buakaw and Saenchai, another big name of Muay Thai of the 2000s has just set up his own camp, it’s about Kem who named simply his camp Kem Muay Thai Gym!

Kem, of his real name Surasak Pakcotakang, was born December 16th, 1984, he comes from Maha Sarakham, the same region as the star Saenchai Sor Kingstar. He began the boxing in 13 years, a few months having begun his training in Muay Thai, he makes his first fight which he gains in points. The young boy Kem makes about ten fights in his native region. Then, at the age of 14, he leaves to Bangkok where he’s going to enter the famous Sor Ploenchit camp. Kem was formed in Sor Ploenchit and it’s for this camp that he took away his first important belts, champion’s belt of Thailand in 122 lbs and the belt of the stadium of Radja in 130 lbs, in 2007!

Then, he was bought by the famous camp Fairtex situated to Pattaya, he fought approximately two years for this camp and he has finally represent the camp Sitsongpeenong until 2014. Now, he will fight for his own camp, at 31 years old, Kem can again make some big fights…

Kem was one of the best boxers, any confused category, in Thailand. Kem, nicknamed « The Blade Cut » , control the poke in the perfection, his poke are real razor blades, he fought a lot in counter blow and knew how to adapt itself to any type of opponent!

Having beaten the best champions Thai as Saenchai Sor Kingstar, Nongbee Kiatyongyut, Phuja Sor Suwanee, Kongpipop Petchyindee (KO), Sanchainoi Wor Phetpoon, Nopparat Keatkhamtorn (KO), Singmanee Kaewsamrit (KO), Big Ben Chor Praram 6, Diesellek Kingboxing Gym, Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee (KO), Prakaisaeng Kayanghaadao (Referee stop contest), Kongjak Sor Tuantong (KO) and Thepsuthin Pumpanmuang, he’s attacked to the foreign champions by going to beat them at their home. Kem beat the East champions Egon Racz (Twice), Vladimir Konsky and Rudolf Durica, the French champions Abdallah Mabel (Twice), Ludovic Millet, Fabio Pinca (Twice), Mickael Piscitello, Dylan Salvador, Australian Toby Smith!

He gained, in 2007, champion’s belt of Thailand in 122 lbs, the belt of Radja in 130 lbs, in 2008, the Tournament S1 in 154 lbs, in 2009, champion’s belt of Thailand in 154 lbs, world champion WMC’s belt in 154 lbs, world champion MTA’s belt in 154 lbs, in 2011, the Tournament Thai Fight in 147 lbs, the Tournament Isuzu in 154 lbs, in 2012, world champion WBC’s belt in 154 lbs and the Tournament Toyota in 154 lbs!

Kem chose to build his camp in the countryside, far from the pollution and from the infernal road traffic of Bangkok. The Kem Muay Thai Gym opened in August, 2014, he’s situated near the famous natural reserve Khao Yai, not far from the city of Pak Chong, in the region of Nakhon Ratchassima in the Northeast of the Thailand.

The climate in this mountainous region is not as well hot as in the rest of the country, here, the typical clammy humidity of the tropical countries feels the effects much less because it makes very freshly and even nights are fresh. But for the training in Muay Thai it’s an excellent climate which allows to be on top form!

Two qualified trainers, Khru Laem and Khru Prasertsap, as well as the boss of places, Kem, give the lessons on a daily basis.

PRASERTSAP AND LAEM WAS PREVIOUSLY TRAINERS TO THE CAMP SITSONGPEENONG, THEY ALREADY TOOK CARE OF THE TRAINING OF KEM

Within Kem Muay Thai Gym, there are from now on three great champions who represent this camp, three cadors which are Yodvicha, Berneung and Aphisit!

 

Yodvicha Kem Muaythaigym alias Yodvicha Por Boonsit

Yodvicha which comes from Nakhon Ratchassima fought during several years for the famous camp Seangmorakot Gym in Bangkok.

Yodvicha is a boy wonder of 18-year who was already a champion of Omnoi in 126 lbs, in February, 2012, against Phetawee Sor Kittichai, Lumpinee Champion in 130 lbs, title when he gained in November 9th, 2012 in front of formidable Kongsak Sitboonmee, Thailand Champion in 135 lbs, in April, 2013, against the star Petboonchu FA Group and Thailand Champion in 140 lbs, in January, 2014, in front of Chamuaktong Sor Yupinda!

In 2013, Yodvicha beat all the stars of moment and ended the year without any defeat, he beat Petboonchu FA Group (Twice), Singdam Kiatmuu 9 (Twice), Saenchai P.K. Saenchaimuaythaigym and Wanchalerm Aooddonmuang!

In 2014, Yodvicha beat Chamuaktong Sor Yupinda (Lumpinee Champion) and Sensatan Sor Suradej (Lumpinee Champion) and faced five times Petboonchu FA Group. Petboonchu beat Yodvicha for the belt of Thailand in 140 lbs and for the belt of Radja in 140 lbs, then Yodvicha has took his revenge by beating two times in succession Petboonchu, they also made a draw!

On January 26th, 2015, in the stadium of Ratchadamnoen, Yodvicha beat the current champion of the Lumpinee in 140 lbs, Singdam Kiatmuu 9!

Berneung is from Sisaket, he fought for many camps such as Sor Thanikul, Luklongdjan, Sakhomsing, Top King Boxing and Sitsongpeenong. Berneung is a powerful, very solid fighter, a big durable boxer who beat great champions as Jomthap Klangseanmahasarakham, Saengaha Sarakham, Yokkhaw Bor Chor Vo 2, Big Ben Chor Praram 6, Chanachai Keawsamrit, Namsaknoi Yutthakarnkamtorn, Tobias Alexandersson, Raphael Liodra, Yohan Lidon and Abdallah Mabel!

 

BERNEUNG AGAINST FRENCH YOHAN LIDON IN EVENT WARRIORS NIGHT 3 IN PARIS, VICTORY OF BERNEUNG BY POINTS (2014)

Berneung gained the belt of the stadium of Radja in 140 lbs in 2005, world champion WMC’s belt in 140 lbs in 2005, world champion WMC’s belt in 160 lbs in 2012, world champion WPMF’s belt in 160 lbs in 2013, world champion WPMF’s belt in 175 lbs in 2013 and his last belt, world champion WPMF’s belt in 168 lbs he gained him in March, 2014. A belt that he defended triumphantly on December 5th against French Adrien Poptheeratam!

Aphisit trained at camp Max Sport Gym (KT Gym) in Bangkok and then to Sitmonchai Gym before joining the camp of Kem.

 

APHISIT IN SPARRING WITH HIS BROTHER TO MAX SPORT GYM (2012)

Aphisit took away world champion WPMF’s belt in 130 lbs, in 2011, against French Xavier Bastard. Aphisit beat good fighters such as Dechbanjong Fairtex (KO), Sangiran Lukbanyai, Jaroensub Kiatchalermpop (KO), Wanchalerm Chor Choenkamon, Sangtawan Por Aowtalebangsarae (KO)!

His last fight in 2014, he won him at the stadium TV7, in December, by beating Betsanlek Rachanon (Best fighter of year 2013 of TV7 stadium) !

Then, in January 2015, he lost on points against Wanchalerm Sitzornong (No. 3 Radja) to the stadium TV7…

Aphisit was ranked N° 1 in the TV7 in 2012, he’s at present ranked N° 5 in the stadium of Radja!

In Kem Muay Thai Gym, the training is classic, every day the boxers make 30 minutes of clinch, several round of paos and punch bag, the skipping, the sparring and 12 km of jogging. A very testing jogging because it’s necessary to cross abrupt hills during the course!
